i’m tie-yerd!

so the munchkins have been here for three days going on four. the first night i woke up at five, the next at four and this morning at three. i was like a walking zombie by twelve yesterday!

they’ve been really well behaved kids. a little gentle firmness has done the trick. during lunch yesterday, the kids wanted to play in a little play thing at the restaurant. the girl munchy got her food first and i noticed that she attacked it like there’s no tomorrow. i looked at her strangely and asked why she was “downing” her food and why she couldn’t wait for the rest of our food to arrive. with her mouthful, she smiles and tilts her head towards the play room. oh. she wanted enough time to play in the playroom before it was time to leave. was i ever like that?

the boy munchy has been really helpful. he knows what’s expected of him and just calling out his name does the trick. he’s been into the root-beer floats that we’ve made. he’s been hanging out with my S2BX doing the boy thing. yesterday he asked his sister if he can just PLEASE have some time for himself. my niece clings on to him and follows him around - because she just adores him. i totally understood how annoying she might be, so she and i painting again. OH! here’s what she painted. this is her version of the eiffel tower in vegas; not paris. wow such talent. it’s so —- how d’you say — how d’you say—- abstract!? yes. so abstract. i think that it’s a whole lot better than my eiffel.

she probably got her artistic talents from moi. my sister will deny that, but we all know that the little one inherited it from me. my sissy is a sketcher. I’M the painter. duh sissy!

oh boy. it’s 6:36 and the sun is trying to peek through the clouds now. maybe i’ll put my head down again. i’ve been up for 3.5hrs.
