my last day of class was today. we had a substitute teacher as ours is on a trip. we just learned the “future simple” and so we were talking about what we were going to do this weekend. while one girl was planning a trip to amsterdam - a trip that i still want to do and regret not doing on this trip, my answer was “i am going to pack ma valise (luggage). i was somewhat sad when everyone was giving me their last hug and “au revoir kisses”. i hate goodbyes and coming to l’AF here and there and here and there creates a lot of goodbyes. actually, au revoir = see you again.

brazilian, brazilian, italian. last row: english.

i’m going to totally miss my afternoons at the café enjoying my irish coffee and inhaling second hand smoke.
i’m even going to miss doing “mes devoirs” (homework).
the tuna and onion pizza is another thing that i’m going to miss… along with the poir chocolat:
Oh! and i forgot about my quiche lorraine and mes chouquettes … and my cafe vanille from the machine and how i’ve spilled it in class twice already. i guess there won’t be a third time … and i’ll be back taking my car around rather than taking le métro… there’s so many more that i will miss about my stay in paris.
