it was blazin’ yesterday and it’s gonna be blazin’ today! it’s suppose to be like … 89 -92 degrees! i gotta go somewhere air conditioned. i sat outside in the evening and worked on my computer yesterday … it was beautiful had the air not been stale. i usually prop my fan out there to get circulation. is that dumb? using your fan outside???
anyways, i was up in the loft and i swear i was almost butt naked ‘cuz it was so hot … i spoke with my friend kevie this morning and i told him that i’m almost tempted to bring my bed downstairs where my desk is right now - next to the sliding glass door. what sucks about my loft is that i don’t get a cross draft …? … is that what it’s called?
well, we shall see how bad this summer is going to be. you know … i specifically picked the city of emeryville for it’s location. i thought that since it’s next to the bay just like redwood shores, then it wouldn’t be sooooo hot!
what was i thinking … wanting to spend like … a week down in southern cal in like two weeks??? am i crazy?? i can’t believe i used to live in that heat and run track in it too! OH and i had long hair to boot back then … and now …
oh yeah, the ice cream last night didn’t help either … it just got me fatter. (sad face)
