i sometimes spend some time on yahoo answers to answer some questions. i answered this question 10 months ago and i just got an email telling me it’s been voted the best.

i don’t know what emotions i was feeling 10 months ago, but that puts us around december 2006 and i’d just moved out two months prior. this is what i had to say 10 months ago:

you know if your spouse really loves you if:

your spouse is willing to give up her kick a** career, friends, family, familiarity etc. to move to northern cal with you because you just finished your mba and you have a really good chance on becoming an executive in 10 years though an executive development program? (your chance to fulfill your dream)

she is willing to do this sacrifice for the betterment of your future as a family and is she willing to have to start all over again.

and since she makes 6 digit$ too, if you guys ever divorce, she knows that she is not going to benefit from the sacrifice that she had to make as much as you in the end.

this is what love is. taking that chance and giving to someone whole heartedly.

when someone does this for you, you know that they love you.
