understanding …

[ UNDER CONSTRUCTION ]

after having had my antidepressants but before i started with a therapist and career counselor, i tried to find some type of understanding as to WHAT THE HECK WAS GOING ON WITH MY LIFE!

aside from learning about depression from my dad, who himself was hospitalized for suicide watch a few times and who was forced to retire early due to his major depression, i started getting more education on the diagnosis, causes, symptoms and treatment of depression.

after that, i started learning more about personalities to know more about what makes me tick. i continued this with my therapist and career counselor. Lesson 1| 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

with my therapist, i learned to understand why i do some of the things i do and i learned [ still learning ] how to change those behaviors that causes negative outcomes in my life. CLICK HERE for examples of what i’ve done or what i’ve learned

my career counselor added an understanding and help on why things have to change, why and what transitions are about and how they are NORMAL.

currently, during this stability in my life, i’m learning that sometimes one has to get to the bottom first to appreciate where they are now. sometimes - it seems - we have to go through and endure these hard hard times to give us the courage to make changes in our lives. to go through our transitions.

the most important things that i’ve learned through my journey is the answers to: WHO AM I? WHAT AM I ABOUT? WHAT DON’T I LIKE ABOUT MYSELF? WHERE ARE MY BOUNDARIES? WHAT DO I WANT?
